BARBARA DONNO ATTENDS FLORAL PARK CHAMBER OF COMMERCE NETWORKING MEETING

Floral Park, NY – New York state Senate candidate Barbara Donno (R,C,I-Manhasset) recently attended the Floral Park Chamber of Commerce Networking Meeting at Koenig’s Restaurant, 86 So. Tyson Avenue in Floral Park. During the meeting, Donno spoke to participants about her lifetime of volunteerism and community activism and her opposition to the proposed “Third Track” that would negatively affect businesses in Floral Park and be harmful to the quality of life for all residents.

BARBARA DONNO VISITS CARLE PLACE SENIOR CENTER

Carle Place, NY – New York state Senate candidate Barbara Donno (R,C,I–Manhasset ) recently met with members of the Carle Place Senior Citizens, Inc. at its center at Charles Fuschillo Park in Carle Place.

Donno briefly spoke to the group and then met with the members individually to discuss their concerns and her plans to lower property taxes on Long Island and ensure senior citizens have access to affordable health care.

BARBARA DONNO TOURS LANDMARK ON MAIN STREET WITH REVEREND CHARLES VOGELEY

Port Washington, NY – New York state Senate candidate Barbara Donno (R,C,I-Manhasset) recently visited the Landmark on Main Street, 232 Main Street, Port Washington, and toured the facility with Rev. Charles Vogeley, who manages the housing section of the center. The upper floors of the Landmark on Main Street contain 59 units of affordable housing for seniors and the developmentally disabled.

During the tour, Donno met some residents and discussed with Rev. Vogeley the issue of affordable housing on Long Island for individuals on fixed incomes. Donno also visited the Port Washington Youth Council’s Teen Center, the Port Washington Children’s Center, the Port Washington Parent’s Resource Center, and the Doctor’s Gymnasium, which are also located at the Landmark on Main Street.
 


New York state Senate candidate Barbara Donno (R,C,I – Manhasset ) recently attended the Herricks Senior Center Birthday Celebration.  The event was held in honor of all of the center members whose birthdays are in the month of Sept.

Donno briefly spoke in front of the group and then met with each resident individually to discuss their concerns and her plans to lower property taxes on Long Island and ensure senior citizens have access to quality, affordable health care.
